Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Skills:
- Oversee the management of R&D projects, driving innovation, product development, and process improvements to align with business goals.
- Implement and lead a structured stage-gate process from concept to commercialization, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and coordination across internal and external teams.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, track progress, manage budgets, and proactively address any deviations to ensure successful execution.
- Establish and manage relationships with external partners, such as co-manufacturers and co-packers, to support innovation initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, and international stakeholders, to facilitate seamless collaboration and communication.
- Support special R&D initiatives as needed, contributing to strategic planning and process enhancements.
- Oversee budget management for R&D operations, including expense tracking and long-term financial planning.
- Provide regular reports on R&D performance, market trends, competitor activity, and emerging consumer preferences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product development or marketing within food manufacturing (CPG preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in new product development (NPD) or R&D project management.
- Project management certification (e.g., CAPM) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience working with international teams or bilingual proficiency in Korean is a plus.
