We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Controller to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Plant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our plant, ensuring that all financial reports are accurate and timely. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies that will help us achieve our goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business analysis and forecasting.
• Monitor and control plant costs, including direct and indirect labor, material usage, and overhead expenses.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Work with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and support for capital projects and other initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and Lean Accounting.
• Utilize SAP to manage financial transactions and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, forecasting, cost accounting, and material management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Accounting principles.
• Ability to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong strategic planning skills.
• CPA or CMA or CGMA certification preferred.
• Experience with glass manufacturing preferred.
