Platform Engineer (GovCloud / On-Prem)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on GovCloud and On-Prem platforms, leveraging your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, Helm, Golang, Python, and Cybersecurity. As a Platform Engineer, you will be a key player in the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and robust systems. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure systems on GovCloud and On-Prem platforms.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate and streamline processes.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and management.
• Develop and test code in Golang and Python, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Actively contribute to cybersecurity efforts, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and leverage them to drive innovation and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IL 4/5/6 and DoD IL4/5/6 standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience with GovCloud and On-Prem platforms.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong programming skills in Golang and Python.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Experience in a start-up environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with IL 4/5/6 or DoD IL4/5/6 is a must.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
