Job Details
We are looking for a Microsoft Power Platform solution architect to lead successful implementations and focus on how solutions address the organization's broader business and technical needs.
A solution architect has functional and technical knowledge of the Power Platform model-driven apps in Dynamics 365, such as Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Sales, related Microsoft cloud solutions, and other third-party technologies. An essential part of the solution architect's responsibility is identifying pain points, processes, and requirements using their knowledge and experience. Additionally, the solution architect aims to increase the value of the organization's investment by performing proactive and preventative work. In this role, you need to be able to identify opportunities for solving business problems.
Also, the solution architect has experience across functional and technical disciplines of the Power Platform and should be able to facilitate design decisions across development, configuration, integration, infrastructure, security, availability, storage, and change management. This role balances the organization's business needs while meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform solution envisioning and requirement analysis. This includes discovering user needs, proposing a solution, working with requirements, and performing fit-gap analysis.
2. Architect solutions. This includes user workshops, requirement validation and clarification, high-level architecture, detail solution architecture, review technical designs, and change management.
3. Implement solutions. This task includes participating in and facilitating reviews with stakeholders to ensure that implementation is meeting the architecture, in addition to conducting reviews with the stakeholders to ensure that the solution is meeting their needs.
4. Work on Dynamics 365 Field Service implementation to replace legacy software.
5. Work as a Dynamics 365 functional consultant.
6. Configure Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps and Dataverse.
7. Create apps by using Microsoft Power Apps.
8. Create and manage Microsoft Power Automate.
9. Develop strategy for how the organization can implement lifecycle management of applications, which includes governance, development, and maintenance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):
1. Excellent interpersonal communication and written English proficiency.
2. Deep business acumen with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
3. Functional consultant experience with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
4. Familiarity with developer role activities for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
5. Understands best practice methodologies when writing code for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
6. Be able to extend Model-driven and Canvas Apps with code to support complex business requirements.
7. Strong .NET development experience in web applications and back-end development using JavaScript, C#, open-source web application frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
