Are you ready for a challenging and rewarding career in the construction industry? We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager/Estimator (Multifamily) to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in our multifamily construction projects, where you will work closely with our preconstruction and development teams. Our ideal candidate has a solid background in estimating, preconstruction, development, multifamily construction, and wood frame construction. You will play a pivotal role in the financial planning and cost analysis of our construction projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality work while maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities:
As a Preconstruction Manager/Estimator (Multifamily), you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects, including labor costs, material costs, equipment costs, and time scales.
2. Collaborating with preconstruction and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
3. Analyzing project risks and producing risk assessments.
4. Reviewing design plans and proposals to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
5. Preparing and presenting cost reports and financial summaries to management.
6. Developing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and quality.
7. Utilizing estimating software to produce accurate and detailed estimates.
8. Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, preconstruction, development, multifamily construction, and wood frame construction.
2. A strong understanding of construction processes and principles, including a thorough knowledge of the multifamily construction sector.
3. Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.
4. Excellent numerical skills and the ability to produce accurate, detailed estimates.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
9. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
