We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Process Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a leading company in the Engineering industry, where you will play a key role in improving and optimizing our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our company's commitment to cost savings, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
2. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
3. Develop innovative solutions.
4. Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
5. Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
6. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
7. Perform risk assessments.
8. Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
9. Contribute to cost saving initiatives, driving efficiencies in the production line.
10. Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practice tools and principles for day-to-day problem solving and continuous improvement.
11. Use Autocad for designing and visualizing projects.
12. Lead project engineering to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proven work experience in process engineering.
4. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Autocad.
5. Knowledge of process-related standards.
6. Experience in process simulations and knowledge of process engineering software packages.
7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
8. Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
9. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
10. Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
11. Demonstrated project engineering skills.
12. Strong ability to influence others and lead change.
13. Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
14. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
