Product Design Engineer

Establish project scope and manage the project to meet customer requirements
Establish design performance requirements and conduct design failure mode and effect analysis
Ideation of solutions to meet product specifications
Develop 3D models of product material specifications
Develop 3D assemblies of new designs and sub-systems
Evaluate design performance using hand calculations & CAE tools
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications
Oversee prototype build of new components and assemblies
Develop and execute Design Verification Plan (DVP) to validate product performance.
Modify and revise designs for cost savings & product improvement
Research and develop new methods & tools to improve the product and development process
