Production Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Permanent Production Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of our production line, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Implement new production processes, taking into consideration the principles of lean manufacturing, to increase productivity and reduce waste.
3. Manage the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working effectively and safely.
4. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line, identifying any potential issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Research & Development, to improve product quality and production efficiency.
6. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies, using data-driven techniques to identify areas for improvement and track the success of implemented strategies.
7. Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
3. Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process implementation strategies.
4. Proven experience in production management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to team members and stakeholders.
7. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvement strategies.
8. Proficient in the use of production management software and other relevant technology.
9. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
