The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with a knack for strategic planning and performance management. This role requires a hands-on approach, overseeing short run jobs, managing work orders, and ensuring the smooth running of our logistics operations. With your seasoned experience and innovative thinking, you will help us maintain our reputation for delivering high-quality products on time, every time.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
2. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
3. Manage cut and sew production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
4. Implement strategic plans to optimize production efficiency and meet business objectives.
5. Coordinate short run jobs, effectively managing work orders to ensure timely completion.
6. Oversee logistics management, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the production facility.
7. Conduct performance management, providing constructive feedback and implementing training programs as needed.
8. Collaborate with other departments to address any issues that may impact production.
9. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in cut and sew production processes.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
4. Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
5. Experience in operations management, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
6. Proven ability to manage short run jobs and work order management.
7. Strong knowledge of logistics management.
