Production Supervisor

We are currently seeking a passionate and diligent Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, ensuring that our manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. This role requires flexibility to work any shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet production targets and maintain schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and oversee quality control of all products.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching and guidance to production staff.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and arrange for repairs when necessary.
• Participate in production equipment purchases and installations.
• Resolve issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations.
• Continuously review current processes and search for ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry, dairy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work any shift as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy machinery and work on the feet for an extended period.
