Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate production activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Production Scheduling: Develop and implement effective production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Injection Molding Operations: Oversee injection molding processes, ensuring proper setup, quality control, and maintenance of equipment.
ERP System Utilization: Leverage ERP systems to track production metrics, manage inventory, and improve overall workflow.
Efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and increase cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Development: Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance and adherence to company policies.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, conduct inspections, and address production defects proactively.
Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce workplace safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Quickly identify production bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues, implementing timely solutions.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights for management decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a production supervisory role, preferably in injection molding or plastic manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, production scheduling tools, and lean manufacturing principles.
Leadership: Strong ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
Experience with automation and robotics in production environments.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
