We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and oversee the production line performance, ensure the highest quality of products, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory management, lean manufacturing, implementing Six Sigma methodologies, and leading a high-performing team. This role also requires a strong understanding of KPIs, food and beverage manufacturing, and financial breakdown. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional manufacturing standards while meeting productivity and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring all activities align with our safety and quality standards.
2. Implement and manage lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
3. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
4. Manage inventory effectively to ensure smooth production flow and reduce wastage.
5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to meet or exceed production targets.
6. Coordinate with other departments, such as Supply Chain and Quality Control, to ensure seamless operations.
7. Ensure compliance with food and beverage manufacturing regulations and standards.
8. Perform financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
9. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in inventory management, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
4. Strong understanding of KPIs, food and beverage manufacturing, and financial breakdown.
5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production data.
8. Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards in the manufacturing industry.
9. Proficient in using production-related software and technology.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the organization.
