Job Details:

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the daily production operations while ensuring adherence to quality standards and meeting production targets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a knack for coordinating and supervising teams to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
• Plan and organize production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements.
• Implement strategies to increase productivity and performance while ensuring product quality.
• Conduct daily huddles and meetings with the production team to discuss operational updates, issues, and solutions.
• Estimate, negotiate and agree on budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the production team and manage staff performance.
• Monitor and control material usage, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure that production output and quality targets are met.
• Continually review the production process and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production targets and delivery deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in production management and scheduling.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team to achieve production targets.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with manufacturing software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
