We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Network Analyst II to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Network Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network connections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network systems to ensure optimal performance. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about technology and its applications in the healthcare field.

1. Monitor and maintain the organization's network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware.
2. Troubleshoot network issues and outages, coordinating with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
3. Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
4. Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
5. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
6. Maintain and monitor remote network operations, network performance, and network security.
7. Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related problems.
8. Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure seamless system data recovery in case of emergencies.
9. Document network processes, layouts, and protocols for future reference and troubleshooting.

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.
3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
4. Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
5. Hands-on experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting Cisco network devices.
6. Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
9. Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar will be considered an asset.
