Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage all aspects of payroll processing for construction staff, including data entry, verification, and processing payments.
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Manage payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare reports on payroll activities for management as needed.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any payroll issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure all payroll-related matters are handled efficiently.
- Stay updated on current labor laws and regulations related to payroll and ensure the company is compliant.
- Process and verify certified payroll reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in certified payroll and payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.
