Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our fast-paced construction team. This is a permanent, full-time position where the candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various residential and real estate development projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and construction, with a keen eye for quality control. They will also have a thorough understanding of site development, erosion, zoning, and roadway construction. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of residential and real estate development projects, from conception to completion.
2. Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Develop project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Review and approve project designs and plans, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
5. Conduct site inspections and oversee quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
6. Coordinate and manage the work of a team of engineers and other professionals.
7. Lead and manage project risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
8. Handle zoning and permitting processes, and liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
9. Oversee site development activities including erosion control and roadway construction.
10. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience managing residential and real estate development projects.
4. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
5. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
6. Excellent understanding of quality control procedures within the construction industry.
7. Familiarity with site development processes, including erosion control, zoning, and roadway construction.
8. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
11. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
