We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager in the Construction industry. This exciting role will see you managing various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time. You will be the primary point of contact for all project-related issues, and you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be tasked with the following:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from initial conception and planning through design, construction, and project completion.
2. Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Reviewing and interpreting construction blueprints and plans, ensuring all project requirements are met.
4. Coordinating and supervising construction activities, ensuring all safety and quality standards are adhered to.
5. Leading and managing project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
6. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
7. Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve efficiency and productivity.
8. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring all parties are kept up-to-date with project status.
9. Resolving any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
10. Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Project Manager, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
2. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including reading and interpreting blueprints.
5. Excellent budgeting skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in construction management software.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
11. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
