Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

The ideal Project Manager will have 5+yrs experience managing dirt, underground, and concrete projects in a self-perform setting.

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Expertise in heavy civil construction with an emphasis in heavy civil projects.
• 5+ years managing projects.
• Knowledge of, budgeting, estimating, scheduling and managing people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being done to specifications and standards.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and management teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
