We are currently looking for a dynamic and innovative Project Manager to join our team. This unique role represents the owner's interests in the construction industry and is crucial to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing Garden Style Apartments and midrise construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is dedicated to excellence and innovation in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Project Manager - Owner's Rep, you will:

1. Represent the owner's interests throughout the project, ensuring that all aspects of the project are carried out to the highest standards.
2. Develop, manage, and update the project budget, ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked and controlled.
3. Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design through to final completion and handover.
4. Manage contracts and relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
5. Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
6. Regularly report on project progress, issues, and risks to the owner and other stakeholders.
7. Identify and manage potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
8. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately maintained and updated.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on Garden Style Apartments and midrise construction projects.
2. Proven experience in construction management, including managing budgets, contracts, and quality control processes.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage potential risks and issues.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Professional certifications in project management or construction management would be an asset.
