Job Details:

Our reputable construction company is seeking a seasoned Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing construction projects from inception to completion. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and has a passion for construction and project management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
5. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
6. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
7. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
8. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
9. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
10. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
11. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
12. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Proven working experience in construction management.
3. Familiarity with construction management software packages such as Procore and MS Project.
4. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
5. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
6. Excellent time and project management skills.
7. Advanced knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
8. Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
9. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
10. Proficient in Submittals, RFI's, Change Orders, Contracts, Budgets, and Scheduling.
11. Good knowledge of MS Office.
12. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
13. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
14. A team player with leadership abilities.
15. BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
16. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
