Job Title: Project Manager
Salary: $100k-$150k/year
Location: Bakersfield, CA

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial plumbing projects concurrently, from inception to completion.
• Analyze project proposals and collaborate with management to establish project objectives.
• Determine project time frame, funding, and staffing, and approve project schedules.
• Recruit, select, train, and assign responsibilities to project staff members.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, approve expenditures, and analyze variances.
• Analyze product design, customer requirements, and performance standards to approve project specifications.
• Control project plans by approving design, specifications, and schedule changes.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize project information and trends for status reports.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline project staff members, and evaluate their job performance.
• Comply with federal and state regulations and coordinate with government regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Prior experience in project management, planning, and product management.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, bid packages, estimate jobs, and track time and costs to meet project objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with PlanGrid or AutoBid Mechanical preferred.
• Strong focus on quality, results-driven mindset, and ability to deal with complexity.
