Exciting multi-unit, commercial, and multifamily projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage & estimate construction costs and prepare budgets
• Provide value engineering/design recommendations
• Supervise the preparation of construction plans and oversee design documents post entitlement approvals
• Process permits, building permits, encroachment permits, storm water permits, maps and other permits necessary
• Interface with local agencies on all permitting issues throughout the permit process
• Scheduling of entire project
• Purchasing and Contracting for various projects overseeing
• Design submittals
• Supervise on-site Superintendents
• Implement and Maintain Quality Control. SWPPP, Safety, and MSDS Programs
• Dry Utilities (SMUD, PG&E, cable, others) design, scheduling and installation.
• Supervise and manage final completions and turnover to Property Management
• Manage warranty and construction defect issues
• Manage post-completion additions and changes to projects
• On-site

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years of construction management experience required.
• Experience in multifamily construction highly desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Project or other CM Project Management software.
• Understanding of all trades, including MEP
