Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate and manage all project activities to ensure smooth execution and adherence to project goals and objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project objectives. Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
3. Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within approved limits. Identify and address any budgetary concerns or potential cost overruns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, minimizing their impact on project success.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance and address any quality issues promptly.
6. Communication and Reporting: Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
7. Change Management: Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that they are properly documented, evaluated, and approved. Minimize the impact of changes on project deliverables and objectives.
8. Division 8 Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Division 8 specifications and requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of Division 8 materials and installations.
9. Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
5. Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
6. In-depth knowledge of Division 8 specifications and requirements.
7. Ability to analyze and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing project requirements.
9. Proficient in project management software and tools.
10. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
