- Collaborate with clients and management to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to evaluate project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Secure necessary permits and approvals for project commencement.
Project Execution and Management
- Coordinate and oversee all project activities, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement, and expenditure tracking.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, equipment operators, and construction teams for seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Resolve project-related issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively.
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Lead and supervise project teams, coordinating work hours, schedules, and productivity.
- Track employee time and attendance, addressing any issues promptly and in line with company policies.
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and optimize resource utilization.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training opportunities.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between project teams, clients, and management.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timecards, contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.

- Document and track project expenses, ensuring proper invoicing and financial accountability.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum five years of related experience and training required.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the excavation and trenching industry or similar field.
- Prior experience operating and maintaining excavation and trenching equipment preferred.
- Prior experience with horizontal directional drilling projects preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
