Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Salary: $130-$140/hour (based on scheduled patients)
Employment: Full-time, 1099 contract work
Schedule: M-TH 8:30am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm (flexible if working less than 40 hours)
Location: Fresno, CA (hybrid-remote)
Practice Setting: Hybrid, outpatient

Under the guidance of the Supervising Physician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients.

You will have a diverse range of responsibilities including:

• Conducting thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations for new patients.
• Collaborating with the Supervising Physician to establish patient care plans and treatment strategies.
• Managing medication regimens and adjustments based on patient needs.
• Providing psychotherapeutic interventions and skill-building techniques.
• Ordering and interpreting necessary lab work and diagnostic tests.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients' families and caregivers.
• Coordinating care and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient well-being.

Requirements:

• Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of California.
• Minimum one year of outpatient psychiatric experience as a PMHNP/PA-C.
