We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our manufacturing processes to ensure that our products meet the highest standards. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where innovation and excellence are valued. The Quality Control Manager will work closely with various teams to improve production processes, reduce defects, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control systems and standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
3. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to establish quality control metrics for all manufacturing procedures.
4. Monitor and analyze quality performance by collecting relevant data and producing statistical reports.
5. Manage and mentor the quality control team to ensure best practices are followed and quality standards are maintained.
6. Investigate customer complaints and product issues, developing strategies for improvement and prevention.
7. Review and update company quality control policies and procedures regularly to ensure their effectiveness.
8. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments to ensure the company’s quality control processes remain current.
9. Coordinate with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of raw materials and products.
10. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve overall product quality.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a similar role in the Manufacturing sector.
3. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related regulatory standards.
4. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality control systems and standards.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
7. Proficient in data analysis and statistical quality control techniques.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and to delegate effectively.
10. Proficiency in using Quality Control software and related tools.
11. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) will be a plus.
