Quality Engineer (Playwright / Sveltekit)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Quality Engineer with a strong background in Playwright/Sveltekit to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation using Playwright, Sveltekit, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product changes and develop appropriate testing strategies.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and errors in product functionality, output, online screens, and content.
• Establish benchmarks for performance and monitor system performance, responding to performance issues by debugging and implementing solutions.
• Work with AWS, API Testing, Lamda, and AWS S3 to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on best practices related to quality assurance and test automation.
• Participate in product design reviews and provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
• Strong experience with Playwright, Sveltekit, AWS, API Testing, Lamda, and AWS S3.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and systems.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery, and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
