Responsibilities:

• Lead the maintenance and compliance of our AS9100 Accredited Quality Management System and associated performance metrics
• Manage the quality assurance and inspection departments – focusing on maintaining the quality standards our customers require and the throughput necessary to maintain customer schedules.
• Provide guidance on inspection plan by part by metrology-mode.
• Establish plant-specific CMM standards and guidelines
• Provide quality leadership to all functions within the plant to achieve Customer Satisfaction and overall business objectives
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for GD&T and SPC implementation and interpretation
• Monitor Performance and determine necessary training for inspection team, as well as all manufacturing employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Working knowledge of GD&T concepts and experience with SPC/Six Sigma tools (Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred)
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities and a wide degree of creativity
• Experience maintaining AS9100/ISO9001 quality standards
• Working knowledge of inspection methods and/or aerospace manufacturing
• CMM experience preferred (PC-DMIS preferred)
