Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team in the Medical Device industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in quality management systems, FDA regulations, root cause analysis, CAPA, audits, and first article inspection. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Excellent Compensation ** Up To $100,000 Base Salary **

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective quality management systems that meet FDA regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and CAPA investigations to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality-related topics.
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits and respond to audit findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and FDA regulations.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA investigations.
• Experience conducting audits and first article inspections.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
