Position Overview:
The Quality & Production Planner will be responsible for overseeing production scheduling while ensuring all aerospace components comply with AS9100 standards and customer requirements. This dual-role position requires coordinating manufacturing processes, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing workflow efficiency to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control (AS9100 Compliance):
Develop and implement AS9100-compliant quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
Perform first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102 requirements and maintain detailed documentation.
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments to meet tight tolerances.
Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs) and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain records in compliance with AS9100 documentation and traceability requirements.
Participate in internal and external audits to uphold AS9100 certification.
Production Planning:
Develop and manage production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials and components are available for production.
Monitor workflow efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed.
Ensure work orders and documentation align with AS9100 requirements for production traceability.
Communicate production status, risks, and potential delays to management.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality control and/or production planning within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality management systems.
Experience conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) and handling non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools, GD&T, and inspection software.
Hands-on experience with production planning software and scheduling techniques.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and adapt to changing demands.
