SUMMARY:
As our Quality Technician you will manager your own 1 of 4 Value Streams in an auto diecast manufacturing environment.

As our Quality Technician you will manager your own 1 of 4 Value Streams in an auto diecast manufacturing environment.
SHIFT:
- 2nd Shift starting at 2pm
MUST HAVES:
- Program CMM in PC-DMIS
- PPAP
- Blueprints / GD&T
- Excel
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform first piece part approvals.
- Identify the customer products.
- Create instructions for any new product.
- Advise of any updates or work instructions changes.
- Work and train operators to identify quality issues as well as how to use gauges and any other type of measurement instruments.
- Implement and maintain updated measurement instruments and all types of gauges used within the Value Stream.
- Work together with the team members to facilitate and help with any quality issues.
- Implement inspection practices, it will be critical for the maintenance of all quality records.
- Participate in answer corrective actions (SCAR)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ Years of professional Quality Tech experience.
- Experience with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, (procedural improvement) with customer requirements.
- Experienced CMM programming using PC-DMIS,
- Experience reading and understanding Blueprints GD&T
- Experience using measuring instruments.
