Job Details

Job Summary:
The Quality Technician supports the day-to-day operations of the Quality department at the assigned facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving quality standards in a manufacturing environment that values safety, teamwork, communication, continuous improvement, and adaptability.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Perform gauge verifications and product/process audits

Document and review test results and certifications

Conduct various testing procedures including dimensional checks, bending, CMM, conductivity, full GD&T, hardness, hydrogen testing, oil inspections, sampling plans, tensile strength, and titrations

Participate in process sorting, inspections, lab preventive maintenance, 6S, and TPM activities

Support quality initiatives such as one-point lessons (OPLs), training, non-conforming material review, 5W2H analysis, and corrective action implementation

Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Associate degree (required); Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequent walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling or feeling are expected. Occasionally, standing and reaching with hands and arms is required. The employee may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
