Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare professionals.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
- Direct and supervise less experienced nursing staff.
- Respond to emergencies and provide guidance and emergency treatments to patients.
- Monitor vital signs during medical procedures.
- Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an R.N. in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in vital signs monitoring, emergency response, and documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and compassionate.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
