Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join our high-performing legal team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of real estate matters, including transactions, acquisitions, financing, lending, contracts, compliance, and leasing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, ranging from start-ups to established corporations, and will play a key role in driving our real estate legal strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and executing a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leasing agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents.
3. Advising clients on real estate related bankruptcy issues and providing strategic advice to minimize risks.
4. Conducting due diligence reviews and advising clients on potential risks and issues.
5. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on real estate law.
4. Proven experience in managing a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, and leasing.
5. Strong knowledge of real estate bankruptcy matters.
6. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice.
