Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Real Estate Associate, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing complex commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, equity financing, and lease agreements.
2. Building and maintaining both public and private partnerships, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Providing strategic legal advice and counsel on a variety of real estate matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Negotiating and drafting a wide range of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and partnership contracts.
5. Working closely with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
6. Keeping abreast of relevant industry trends and legislative changes, ensuring that the company's real estate operations align with current laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Washington DC bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, equity financing, and leasing.
4. Proven experience in managing both public and private partnerships.
5. Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
