Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and intelligent Real Estate Attorney with extensive experience in condo/coop law.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal advice to co-op and condominium board members on governance, operations, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and interpret governing documents (e.g., bylaws, amendments, declarations).
Negotiate and draft leases, vendor contracts, and access agreements.
Manage due diligence for residential and commercial transactions.
Participate in marketing activities and develop relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active New York State Bar license and in good standing.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in New York Real Estate Law
Strong negotiating, analytical, and research skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and writing skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
