Real Estate Attorney

We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney to join our client's robust legal team. The successful candidate will have a background in commercial real estate leasing, excellent communication and legal writing skills, and the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

1. Providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial real estate matters including transactions, leasing, property management, and dispute resolution.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate leases and related documents.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making and to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Working closely with other departments within the company to provide legal support and advice.
5. Proactively identifying legal risks and devising strategies to mitigate them.
6. Keeping abreast of developments in real estate law and advising the company on any potential impact.


Qualifications

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on commercial real estate.
3. Admission to the NY state bar.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of real estate law, including commercial leasing.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
6. Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft and review a wide range of legal documents.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. An analytical mind, with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
9. A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
