Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Real Estate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including CRE and corporate transactions.
2. Representing clients in business transactions, financial transactions, and lender representation.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents.
4. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
5. Representing clients in court and before government agencies, as needed.
6. Working closely with other attorneys and partners to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
7. Managing a book of business and developing new business opportunities.
8. Using ProLaw and MS Office to manage and track all legal work.
9. Mentoring and supervising junior associates.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Maryland Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on CRE, corporate law, business law, corporate transactions, business transactions, financial transactions, and lender representation.
4. Experience in banking law is highly desirable.
5. Proven track record of representing large businesses.
6. Proficiency in using ProLaw and MS Office.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A book of business is a plus.
