This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills and knowledge in a key role within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with a particular emphasis on food production. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our refrigeration systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruption to manufacturing processes.
3. Collaborate with the production team to understand and meet their refrigeration needs, providing expert advice and technical support.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair work, using this information to anticipate potential issues and plan preventative action.
5. Stay informed about the latest developments in refrigeration technology and regulations, continually enhancing your skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible service.
6. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Refrigeration Technician in the manufacturing industry, preferably within food production.
2. EPA Certification is required.
3. Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems.
4. Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, practices, and safety standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly and concisely.
8. Commitment to continual learning and professional development.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment, as well as willingness to work in a variety of conditions.
