We are actively seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a special focus on the operating room (OR) for a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Registered Nurse - Operating Room, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing immediate preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
2. Assisting surgeons during operations by handling and preparing instruments, anticipating needs, and ensuring a sterile environment.
3. Monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs, administering medication, and responding to emergencies during surgeries.
4. Collaborating with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
5. Educating patients and their families about postoperative care and potential complications.
6. Ensuring all safety protocols and guidelines are strictly adhered to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
7. Documenting and communicating patient information and updates to relevant parties in a timely and accurate manner.
8. Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements in the medical field.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in an operating room setting.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in patient care and critical care procedures.
4. Proficiency in operating room equipment and technology.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions quickly in emergency situations.
