We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OR Circulating Nurse to join our dynamic medical team. As a Circulating Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide the highest level of care to our patients. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year of OR experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies, ensuring proper lighting and ventilation, and sterilizing instruments.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing necessary equipment and supplies, monitoring patient vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist or surgeon.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records of procedures, medications, and other important information.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support before and after surgery.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
