Registered Nurse

Duties:

• Triage Patients
• Perform procedures such as injections, wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertion/removal, etc.
• Respond to lifesaving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Initiate patient education plan according to individualized needs, including patient and family instruction
• Provide on-going support and continuous assessment for International Normalized Ratio patients
• Educate and instruct patients regarding lab tests, results, medication functions, and expectations to gain cooperation
• Respond to patient telphone inquiries and Provider requests regarding medical concerns, lab results, refills, referrals, etc.
• Appropriate documenting of patient encounters and care plans in EHR system

Requirements:

• Active CA State RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinic, outpatient or internal medicine
• Preferred 1+ years working with elderly/geriatric patient populations
• BLS/CPR Certification

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English & Arabic or Spanish) preferred
