Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Perform complex financial analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
2. Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports to management.
3. Reconcile general ledger accounts, review discrepancies, and take corrective action.
4. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
5. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
7. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
8. Provide financial and regulatory reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting role, preferably within the energy industry.
3. Proficiency in financial software and databases.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
5. Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
6. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain high levels of accuracy.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
