We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. This role is designed for a specialist who is passionate about regulatory affairs, compliance, and the energy sector. As a Consulting Regulatory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, guidelines, and procedures. You will be the key liaison between our organization and regulatory bodies, ensuring all activities are compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations and implement necessary changes.
2. Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on all regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines.
3. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement compliance strategies.
4. Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
5. Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, addressing any inquiries or issues they may have.
6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure all company procedures and activities are in line with regulatory requirements.
7. Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on regulatory changes and compliance.
8. Participate in internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions as needed.
9. Use AP, OpenInvoice, and OpenTicket to manage and track regulatory compliance activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Energy industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of energy industry regulations and standards.
4. Proficiency in AP, OpenInvoice, and OpenTicket.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality.
9. Proven experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
10. Experience in developing and delivering regulatory training to staff.
