Remote CPA

We're a Private Equity Firm based in Orange County, CA, and we're looking for a CPA to join our team and own AR/AP, as well as GAAP and IRS Regulation Compliance.

The candidate must have their CPA, and will be detail oriented. We are looking for a CPA with a year or two of work experience to come on board and learn fund accounting in a fast paced environment, surrounded by a high-performing team of experts who have decades of .1%-level success in their respective fields.

Requirements

• ACTIVE CPA License
• 1-5 years of experience in Accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft applications
• Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills
• People-person with the ability to interact well independently or with a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Complete the day-to-day accounting activities, which include Account Payable and Account Receivables
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Assist with the month-end close process, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• Research and develop year-round complex tax issues, tax compliance, and tax planning strategies
• Analyze, apply, and improve policies, procedures, controls, and methodologies within the area’s responsibilities
