REMOTE Analytics Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytics Software Engineering Manager to join our team. This is a permanent REMOTE position, and the candidate must have experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Hadoop, HDFS, BigData, NoSQL, and Agile/Kanban methodologies. The ideal candidate must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

Responsibilities:

As an Analytics Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and data analysts to design, develop, and implement data-driven applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet business requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of software engineers and data analysts to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Designing, developing, and implementing data-driven applications using Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Hadoop, HDFS, BigData, and NoSQL.
• Ensuring that the software development process follows Agile/Kanban methodologies and best practices.
• Conducting code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that the software meets quality standards.
• Managing and monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Hadoop, HDFS, BigData, and NoSQL.
• Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies and best practices.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.
