Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in the wire and/or cabling sector. This is a permanent role where the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, exploring new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the wire and cable market, including copper wire and cable products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.


1. Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
9. Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
10. Meet and exceed sales targets set by the company.
11. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
12. Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.


1. Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in the Engineering industry, specifically in the wire and cable sector.
2. Proven sales track record.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
4. Proficiency in English.
5. Market knowledge in wire and cable products, including copper wire and cable.
6. Communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to build rapport.
8. Time management and planning skills.
9. BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
10. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
11. Strong networking skills and the ability to foster long term relationships with customers.
12. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
13. High level of commercial awareness and the ability to understand and analyze market trends.
14. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
15. Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
