Job Details
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree in taxation is a plus)
- 5+ years of proven experience in tax preparation and planning
- Proficient knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of returns - specialization in farm or business a plus
- In-depth knowledge of financial planning, wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning and/or trust & estate work
- A growing client service skillset and the ability to develop strong client relationships
- Experience in identifying and addressing client needs, including: building and utilizing client networks, communicating value propositions, managing budgets, and preparing complex materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
