This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will lead a team of enthusiastic staff members and be responsible for driving sales and profitability, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring the overall smooth running of the store.

This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will lead a team of enthusiastic staff members and be responsible for driving sales and profitability, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring the overall smooth running of the store.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the store to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and profitability
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that all merchandise is correctly priced and displayed
- Use POS systems to process transactions, manage customer orders, and generate sales reports
- Create staff schedules, manage employee performance, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and product knowledge
- Handle customer complaints and queries, providing high-quality, consultative customer service
- Collaborate with the head office to implement marketing campaigns, store layouts, and visual merchandising
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, with a strong understanding of store operations, inventory management, and customer service principles
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other retail software
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to work
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Experience in consultative selling, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
