Why We Need Your Talents
The Revenue Audit Manager under the director of the Casino Controller, is responsible for day to day operations of The Revenue Audit Department. The Revenue Audit Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that revenue generated by all revenue centers of the property are property calculated and reported.

Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Responsible for the overall management of the MLC Revenue Audit department
Devise and implement income audit procedures, forms, reconciliation, variance reporting and follow up.
Select, schedule, direct, supervise, train and develop Revenue Audit Supervisors, Accountants, & Audit Staff.
Ensure all revenue generated by retail, non-gaming and gaming operations is properly recorded, reconciled and documented.
Review journal entries, complete journal entry input/edit what was entered in the accounting system and approve the posting of journal entries to the General Ledger.
Prepare, review, and/or post month-end statistical journal entries.
Develop, implement and ensure compliance to department policies and procedures in accordance with MLGCA gaming regulations and internal controls.
Prepare the daily, weekly, and month-end gaming and non-gaming revenue reports.
Must be able to complete job duties of Revenue Audit Supervisors, Revenue Auditors, Staff Accountants, if necessary.
Always demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations.
Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Skills to Help You Succeed:
Responsible for supervision and documentation of the Revenue Audit in their performance of the audit procedures, job performance and attendance.
Works with the accounting department to capture revenue.
Coordinates design and implementation of Revenue audit-related forms.
Ensures compliance of all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations.
Participates in special projects that require audit expertise.
Attends periodic meetings and training sessions in absence of Casino Controller.
Ability to effectively formulate and communicate ideas.
Ability to review and evaluate performance of team, allocate, coordinate and assign resources.
Mathematical and statistical aptitude
Must have excellent PC skills.
Must-Haves
Three to five years’ experience in accounting and finance operations. Preferable in the hospitality and/or gaming industry
A 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
2 or more years of management experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform reconciliation, create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data
Ability to problem solve, make accurate and timely decisions and recommendations independently.
